Dwell San Miguel was never meant to be just a real estate team. It was meant to be a way of doing business differently.

Founded in 2022 by Teresa Benfield, Dwell San Miguel was built from lived experience, not just ambition. Teresa first fell in love with San Miguel de Allende in 2009. Like so many of her clients, she felt the pull, the beauty, the possibility. In 2016, she and her family purchased their own home here. By 2019, they were living in San Miguel full time, navigating residency, cultural shifts, construction, community, and the very real emotional weight of starting over in another country.

She understands the excitement.

She understands the fear.

She understands the paperwork.

She understands the leap.

Before founding Dwell San Miguel, Teresa spent 19 years in commercial interior design and construction. With a BFA in Interior Architecture from the University of North Texas and an MBA in Marketing and Business Law from Texas A&M Commerce, she built and led Dilusso Design Group as CEO. Her transition into real estate was natural. She doesn’t just see properties, she understands structure, renovation potential, negotiation strategy, and long term value.

Teresa is an accredited real estate professional in the State of Guanajuato and a proud AMPI member, committed to ethical representation and professional standards in Mexico.

But Dwell San Miguel is not built on one strength alone.

Jayson Benfield, originally from Dallas, Texas, brings three decades of refined client service and luxury market experience. After a 30 year career in luxury retail, including 10 years as a Senior Buyer at Neiman Marcus, Jayson understands quality, value, and above all, people. His career sharpened his instinct for detail and his ability to anticipate client needs before they are spoken.

Jayson is also accredited in the State of Guanajuato and a proud AMPI member. His calm presence and steady communication bring reassurance to clients navigating complex cross border transactions. He believes real estate is not about selling, but about stewardship and relationships.

And then there is the next chapter.

Noah Alexander represents the new generation of Dwell San Miguel.

With successful years in the automotive and hospitality industries, Noah learned early that every move has a story behind it. Whether helping someone purchase their first vehicle or welcoming guests in hospitality, he discovered that service is not about transactions, it is about trust.

Passionate about helping people begin their next chapter in San Miguel de Allende, Noah brings fresh energy, curiosity, and a service first mindset to the team. Rooted in authenticity and driven by connection, he guides clients with care and genuine enthusiasm. He understands what it means to relocate, to build something new, to plant roots in unfamiliar soil and call it home.
